Marco Carrasco operates at the intersection of infrastructure execution, capital formation, and cross-border commercial strategy. As the 0-to-1 Venture Architect and CEO of Carboncause—a premier European CCUS platform—Marco secured ~€4M in initial capital and led the commercial origination of Spain's first onshore CO₂ storage hub.
He is a commercial orchestrator who transforms fragmented climate concepts into fully integrated, bankable assets. Marco has successfully structured multi-million-euro consortiums—including a 14-partner Horizon Europe initiative—and secured complex value-chain partnerships with heavy emitters (e.g., Holcim, CEMEX) and Tier-1 EPC majors (e.g., Baker Hughes, Técnicas Reunidas).
While his foundation includes a cross-border legal pedigree and a half-billion-dollar due diligence track record, his core value lies in executing the precise commercial, financial, and societal architecture required to bring first-of-a-kind (FOAK) infrastructure to a Ready-to-Build (RTB) state.
