PROJECT_01 // ASSET_ORIGINATION
35-Mt Onshore CO₂ Storage Asset
Challenge: Unlocking the onshore CCS market in Southern Europe despite an unproven regulatory pathway and the need to engineer baseline societal readiness for a first-of-a-kind asset.
Solution: Led the 0-to-1 regulatory origination and spearheaded societal readiness initiatives for a 35-40 Mt capacity geological storage site, executing site agreements with Tier-1 majors.
Result: Secured Spain's first onshore CO₂ exploration permit, achieving a projected €79M valuation for Phase 1.1.
PROJECT_02 // VALUE_CHAIN_INTEGRATION
Horizon Europe CCUS Consortium
Challenge: Integrating a fragmented, 14-partner ecosystem into a unified project vehicle while aligning with emerging EU regulatory frameworks.
Solution: Architected the commercial frameworks bridging off-takers (Holcim), synfuel tech (INERATEC), and environmental permitting, while actively advising the European Commission on CCS deployment standards.
Result: Achieved the benchmark score for the EU's €40M+ reserve list, successfully orchestrating a Concept-to-RTB ecosystem.
PROJECT_03 // ASSET_ORIGINATION
Utility-Scale Solar Portfolios
Challenge: Mitigating early-stage regulatory, interconnection, and land-use risks within multi-gigawatt renewable energy portfolios to satisfy the rigorous deployment criteria of institutional capital.
Solution: Directed key early-phase commercial architecture for Ibox Energy (subsequently acquired by Cox Energy)—specifically leading asset origination, site security, complex sovereign land conversions (e.g., Mexican Ejidos), and grid connectivity.
Result: Secured the critical land and interconnection assets contributing to a >2 GW solar PV pipeline's advancement toward Ready-to-Build (RTB) status, and executed commercial due diligence on over $500M in energy assets.
